How many of you have gotten back together with an ex?

Author: regardless of the situation… how long did it take to get back with you ex?
what brought you back together? and
is it lasting the second time?
2 years.
I stopped contacting him-then he started talking to me in the spring and invited me to his birthday party in July (he’s 27; I’m 23).
We’ve both grown up a lot, there are some obvious changes in things, we’ve had our tiffs, but it was like picking up where we left off. It’s the last relationship I ever thought I’d find myself in again. It’s also the best relationship and most adult relationship in terms of maturity I’ve ever had. I was told not to do it because he’s my ex, but I am so glad that I listened to my gut and not everyone saying don’t date your ex. There was no cheating or anything like that involved; that’s when I would say not to get back together-if you can find a cheater who’s only cheated once, I would love to meet him/her.

Only with my first boyfriend and it was about a day. It only lasted about six months all together and we were in the 8th grade. I really don’t know what the hell was going through my mind.

My boyfriend and I broke up for a month because he did something that really hurt me. He begged and pleaded and even cried to try to get me back, so I forgave him. We’ve been together for 4 years now.

after my ex and i broke up.. it took about a month, two months to get things going again between us…. and no – it didnt last. we saw each other for about a month the second time and i just realised that he hadnt changed and that we broke up for a reason…
