What are the chances of getting back together with an ex girlfriend when she already has another boyfriend and been going out with him for a couple of months so far?

I know quite abit of couples that have gotten back together after a few months. One of them my friend was cheating on his girlfriend they broke up his ex ended up dating another guy for a couple of months and she eventually got over him and went back to my friend.

My other friend ended up dating another guy she thought she was truly happy with him but eventually realised she will never be as happy as she was with her ex they ended up gettin back together.

Lastly, I am in this very position myself. My ex is still in love with me but is dating another guy yes it sounds stupid but she had plans with him and didnt want to ruin them for him so shes waited until after all of those plans passed and today actually she has broke up with him. Its not something easy and it takes alot of time but work at it together be strong together things will work out

regardless of the situation… how long did it take to get back with you ex?

2 years.
I stopped contacting him-then he started talking to me in the spring and invited me to his birthday party in July (he’s 27; I’m 23).
We’ve both grown up a lot, there are some obvious changes in things, we’ve had our tiffs, but it was like picking up where we left off. It’s the last relationship I ever thought I’d find myself in again. It’s also the best relationship and most adult relationship in terms of maturity I’ve ever had. I was told not to do it because he’s my ex, but I am so glad that I listened to my gut and not everyone saying don’t date your ex. There was no cheating or anything like that involved; that’s when I would say not to get back together-if you can find a cheater who’s only cheated once, I would love to meet him/her.

A month ago my ex broke up with me because he had no time for a serious relatioship. This weekend he invited me to come down to an event he is going to be taking part in. It’s a couple hours away from home and we are staying in a hotel. He says he wants to spend alot of time with me while we are down there. Alone in his hotel room…
If he wants to get back together with me, should i?

Yeah, if he has time now. And you arent going to break up for other obvious reasons. If you guys still really care about eachother, then i think it would be a good idea to try again. You dont want to miss out on something great. Just make sure that he isnt just using you. And that he actually wants you back.
